Khuntoria’s second anniversary is quickly approaching; so we just wanted to do something to show them that they will always be in our hearts. Since they were known as the “International Couple” we are urging fans worldwide to participate in a trending effort by trending #khuntoria2years on twitter.
We weren’t able to trend last year because of the confusion regarding Twitter’s trending rules. To ensure that this year’s efforts are successful, please read through this entire post and be sure to ask questions if there is anything that you don’t understand.

Below is a quick summary of what we’re planning on doing.

1. WHAT ARE WE TRENDING: #khuntoria2years + a message
2. WHEN ARE WE TRENDING: 5PM KST on June 1st
3. WHY YOU SHOULD TREND: We have 2 giveaway prizes. One for rebloggers and one for tweeters. (Details below)
4. THE REAL REASON WHY YOU SHOULD TREND: Because you love Khuntoria.
5. WHAT ELSE: Int’l Khuntorians also want to change their avatar and twitter name. (Details below)

TRENDING DETAILS:

1. UNLOCK your account before you start tweeting! If your account is set to private, the hashtag will NOT count or show up. Publicize your account for one day, and after you can set it back to private.
2. Only ONE hashtag (#khuntoria2years) per tweet! Any more than that and it’s spam which means twitter will not count it (or may even blacklist the tweet so it can’t trend). Also, it’s annoying.
3. A tweet MUST CONTAIN A MESSAGE. Anything with only a hashtag is considered spam, as well.
4. Also, write your OWN message. Do not just retweet the whole “quote” from others

4. Do NOT tweet beforehand! Don’t start the hashtag the night before. To trend, the hashtag must be kind of like a sudden avalanche within a relatively small amount of time (like over an hour). So make sure to start at 5PM KST as specified!
5. It’s not the number of tweets, it’s the number of people tweeting. You do not need to write a bazillion messages. We just need a bazillion people to write one message each. :)

We are offering two giveaway prize sets (there are two ways to win these)!

The set includes:

a 64-episode DVD set of Khuntoria WGM with English subs

a Khuntoria-themed 2012-2013 calendar (HD Khuntoria photos)
